Victorian Aboriginal Remembrance Service
This service honours Aboriginal service men and women, past and present. The event is held annually on 31 May at the Shrine of Remembrance.

Celebrating Aboriginal culture and achievements in the Victorian Aboriginal Community.
The Aunty Dot Peters Award
Supports Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students to complete years 9 and 10 at a Victorian school. Each recipient receives $5000.
Ricci Marks Awards
The Ricci Marks Awards offer $5,000 for 2 First Nations people aged 16-25 years. A special commendation award, The Ricci Marks Rising Star award, is offered to a third recipient for a bursary of $1,500.
